LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Lubbock police say a 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with felony possession of stolen property and at least three others are being sought after more than 60 vehicle burglaries have been reported in the West Texas city since Sunday night.

Police say the majority of the break-ins occurred in the overnight hours.

In most cases, construction-type tools have been stolen from pickup trucks.Investigators tracked some stolen property to a home where about 80 items like drills, saws, grinders and other power tools believed stolen in recent days have been recovered.

Authorities also say two trucks matching the description of those used in the burglaries were spotted Wednesday morning. One managed to escape. The occupants of the second truck ran away after a short chase.
