During Tuesday’s Hobbs Municipal Schools board meeting, Paula Smith and Barry Young made a presentation on the benefits of starting a school-based health clinic for Hobbs schools.
Smith and Young are part of a committee that did research on bringing a health clinic to Hobbs schools and developed the “RoadMap to Reduce Teen Pregnancy in Lea County.”
The Hobbs Municipal Schools is considering opening a school-based health clinic.
